This event is an informal gathering for composers and conductors - Composers will have the opportunity to showcase some of their choral works, and conductors will familiarize themselves with Northwest composers, both established and emerging.
Details
WHEN: Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 11am to 12:30pm
WHERE: Davenport Grand Hotel, Grand Ballroom B
FORMAT: Composers will each have their own space at the tables set up in the ballroom. Conductors and other interested attendees are invited to circulate between tables to meet composers and to become familiar with the work of composers in whose compositions they're interested.
DEADLINE: If you’re interested in participating in the Composer Fair, please register for the conference first, then email me at sydneyguillaume@nwacda.org no later than January 12, 2024 to let me know that you're interested in reserving a space at one of the tables (at no additional cost beyond the conference registration fee). Soon after January 12th, I will send out additional details to composers about the format, logistics, and ground rules for the event.
