Bill Campbell

President

Bill Campbell is in his 18th year as the choir director at Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where he directs the school’s six choral ensembles. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Arizona and a Master of Arts degree from Oregon State University. In his 26 years of teaching, he has taught choir at both the middle and high school levels. Prior to his time in Lake Oswego, he taught at Crescent Valley High and Cheldelin Middle Schools in Corvallis, Oregon, and Molasky Junior High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bill has served as Oregon ACDA President (2018-2020), Oregon ACDA Treasurer (2012-2018), OMEA District 11 Chair (2005-2006), and is currently the Lakeridge High School fine and performing arts department chair. He is a graduate of Grant High School in Portland, where he lives with his wife Allison, kids Collin and Chloe, and their puppy Elvis.

ANNE LYMAN

President-Elect

Dr. Anne E. Lyman is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most prominent and versatile choral conductors. She serves as Director of Vocal Activities and Chair of Music at Tacoma Community College where she advises the two-year Associate of Music Major degree program. Lyman directs Cora Voce, a project-based chamber choir comprised of singers from across the Puget Sound region. She is passionate about early music and currently serves as the Artistic Director of Sine Nomine Renaissance Choir, a community collegium ensemble of Early Music Seattle. Lyman co-founded Musing, a one-concert-per-year treble ensemble comprised of music educators from around the Puget Sound region. She is a proud singer of the Evergreen Ensemble and Chor Anno.

 

Anne Lyman is dedicated to serving her colleagues in collaborative and leadership positions. She is the President-Elect Designate for the Northwest Region of the American Choral Director’s Association and currently serves as the Chair of the Two-Year College Affinity Group with the National Collegiate Choral Organization. She served as Past State President of the Washington Chapter of ACDA and as the Co-Chair of Faculty at Tacoma Community College, helping support her colleagues in navigating teaching and learning online during Covid. In 2025 she was named Collegiate Educator of the Year by WMEA.

 

Lyman’s performance and scholarship in music has been widely recognized. She is a sought-after guest conductor for festival and honor choirs, and her choirs have appeared at regional conventions of the American Choral Directors Association (2012 and 2014.) In 2007 she was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, completing a nine-month residency at the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven, Belgium. Her work has been supported by the Society of Seventeenth Century Music, the Belgian American Education Foundation, the Stanley Foundation, and the Tacoma Arts Commission. 

 

Lyman holds degrees from the College of Wooster, the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Iowa where she studied with Dr. Tim Stalter and Dr. Christine Getz. She lives in Tacoma, Washington and loves hiking, cooking, gardening, and watching baseball with her husband Zach, son, Milo and daughter, Eleanor.

NICOLE LAMARTINE

Past President

Nicole C. Lamartine creates innovative and engaging choral experiences as the Director of Choirs at Central Washington University. She conducts the flagship CWU Chamber Choir, integrates 21st century relevancy into MM choral studies, and teaches conducting, voice, and music education. Previously, she was Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wyoming from 2008-2020 and University of California, Santa Barbara from 2020-2022.  She has conducted numerous All-State and international honor choirs, and her choirs have appeared on ACDA, MEA, and NCCO conferences. She conducts Chor Anno, a NW ensemble of choral music professionals, and she is the Founder of the Santa Barbara Gay Men's Chorus.
