Children’s & Community Youth Honor Choir
Friday, March 11 - Saturday, March 12, 2022
The Children’s & Community Youth Honor Choir is open to treble singers (unchanged voices) in grades 4, 5, and 6.
Singers may only audition for ONE voice part.
Singers in 6th grade must choose, with the help of their director, if they will apply for the Children’s & Community Youth Honor Choir OR the Middle School Honor Choir. They are NOT ALLOWED to audition for both honor choirs.
New in 2022: Children’s & Community Youth Honor Choir applicants will not be nominated, but will audition only by singing a simple ascending and descending major scale on solfege.
Directors of applicants will submit auditions via Submittable. Directors must be an ACDA member with a valid ACDA member in order to submit their singer’s audition.
All audition fees are waived for the 2022 conference; the 2022 audition fee is free.
Due to the logistics, these dates are non-negotiable. All deadlines must be met to participate in an honor choir.
