Repertoire can be one of the hardest parts of our jobs. I know, especially as a new teacher, finding music that both suits your ensemble and moves them forward towards your musical/educational goals, finding music can be a time intensive process! Here are a few resources that you might not be aware of.
Facebook R&R pages - National ACDA has newly put together R&R focused pages. Links here: TB Choirs; HS; Junior High; Children/Youth; Vocal Jazz
Wisconsin All-State Repertoire List - Wisconsin ACDA has put together a list of all their All-State selections going back 20+ years. Tabs for Collegiate, Jazz, Bass choir, Treble choir, Middle school, and more, with selections from conductors like Sandra Snow, Lee Nelson, and more.
Florida Vocal Association Repertoire Lists: Shoutout to Sandy Babb for this discovery. There are multiple resource lists on this site, including solo literature. Check it out!
Nathan Connell served as the choir director at Glacier High School in Kalispell, Montana for five years before founding Bear Grass Performing Arts and the Flathead Valley Youth Chorus. He serves as the executive director and assistant conductor for FVYC, and has served on the NW ACDA board as HS R&R Chair and now as newsletter and communications chair.
