Important Notes on Lodging
-
If reserving over the phone, tell the staff you are with NW ACDA HONOR CHOIRS. If you fail to inform them that you are with the honor choirs, you will not receive a discounted rate, you will not be listed on the housing roster, and could be removed from the honor choir.
-
The designated chaperone must either (1) stay in the hotel room with the singer, or (2) follow the school, district, or organization policy regarding overnight trips. If your singer’s chaperone is not a school employee, school or district overnight trip policies may not apply.
MUSIC
On December 10, 2021, your music packet will be mailed to your choir director to pass out to you.
All honor choir singers must follow these expectations:
-
All music MUST be learned by the first rehearsal on March 9, 2021.
-
You MUST bring your sheet music to Spokane.
-
Be prepared to sing the concert memorized.
-
You will receive practice tracks for all of your music. Use these practice tracks to learn your music outside of the school day. Do not expect your choir director to teach you your honor choir music.
-
Plan time to practice every day.
-
You only get ONE copy of your music. Do not lose it. If you misplace your music, you must be prepared to pay to replace it.
MEALS
All singers are responsible for their own meals. Meals are not included in your registration fee.

There are lots of great restaurant that are within walking distance of the conference hotels. Go to VisitSpokane - Restaurants in Spokane to find a list of local restaurants

-
Chaperones are responsible for singers at all times, except when singers are in rehearsal.
-
Chaperones are not required to pay a fee.
-
Chaperones will not be granted access to any NW ACDA events without purchasing separate registration or concert tickets.
-
Chaperones will not receive breakfast provided at the College Fair.
