"Involvement in ACDA has crafted my professional life, opening so many doors of opportunity that I stand before you today as national president-elect designate, from our great Northwestern Division.  Thank you to our division board and to our membership for the opportunity to represent you at the national level where I seek to open doors of opportunity for the next generation of strong ACDA leaders."

Karen Fulmer was named to the WMEA's inaugural class "Hall of Fame." She is also the recipient of WA ACDA's Leadership award...this in 2008. She also holds the distinction of being named "Washington Teacher of the Year" in 1997 by the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
