Rainier Youth Choirs seeks a highly skilled and experienced Choir Conductor/Educator for its auditioned 4th-6th grade Bella Voce, which meets Mondays, 5:15-6:45pm in the Covington area for our 10th Anniversary Season (and beyond), beginning in September. The instructor must be able to work independently to choose quality repertoire, plan and lead engaging rehearsals, assess chorister progress, and communicate with parents. He/she must also be able to work within the context of the entire Rainier Youth Choirs organization (4 choir levels, 100 choristers, grades 2-14) to support our mission: “Provide instruction designed to guide singers to attain the highest level of artistry in choral performance and music education through an affordable program.” Bella Voce’s Director is supported by an accompanist at all rehearsals, and by the Artistic Director, who oversees the overall curriculum, final repertoire choices, concert season, and program offerings. Rainier Youth Choirs’ administrative staff manages recruiting, registration/enrollment, concert venues and tickets, major fundraising, policies, parent volunteers, and regular parent communication.
